Thomas Consulting provide facilities design and engineering support to the MOD and other defence organisations throughout the UK and overseas. We provide technical services for the assessment of critical site infrastructure along with feasibility assessments and offer complete design solutions for the client.

We undertake complex structural analysis and designs associated with defence related facilities, and provide engineering capability with defence specialisms (including nuclear installations, blast etc). Our staff are security cleared to SC level as a minimum and will work in accordance with any stringent client, governmental and site-specific induction processes.

Both civil and structural engineering design facility projects are undertaken and we have significant experience in the design of large substructures, heavy industrial facilities, preparation of remedial work specifications and assessment of existing buildings and site infrastructure.

Our team includes chartered engineers who are experts in the design and assessment of steel and reinforced concrete structures. Using complex software analysis, they can carry out assessments using a seismic structural response spectrum and application of dynamic and blast loadings.
