Project Description
Substructure – reinforced concrete bank seat on piled foundations.
Deck – “Shield type” construction with standard pre-stressed pre-cast ‘T’ beams and infill con-crete.
The bridge was required to provide access for maintenance vehicles including heavy cranes to lift cover slabs and pumps during periodic maintenance.
